It’s Halloween time and this week, we’re in for some fun events on television. It’s a week when childhood staples like, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown which will premiere on ABC this week, and we will be watching.
If you like your nostalgia a bit newer and you’re missing your Key & Peele fix? Well, we’re not really sure why because there’s an entire website dedicated to hosting the archives of the landmark show. But if you like your sketches packaged, well you are in luck because on Wednesday, Comedy Central is putting together the Key & Peele Sportsball Spectacular which will feature sports-themed sketches from the sorely missed show.
But most interestingly this week is the FOX’s airing of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. From the teaser, it’s doesn’t appear to be a shot-for-shot remake of the original, rather a re-imagining of the show, adding parts of the experience that have become synonymous with the movie since its release (like audience participation). This one features Orange Is the New Black’s Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank N Furter, Adam Lambert, Victoria Justice, Christina Milian, Ben Vereen and original “RHPS” star Tim Curry.
