Welcome to Night Vale is one of the world’s most downloaded podcasts. It’s also taking to the road. And as of this week, they extended their acclaimed live show to twelve additional U.S. cities as of July 7th. The stage version of the show mimics the podcast, stories coming from the desert town of Night Vale in the form of a community radio show. Host Cecil Palmer runs the show as they share some ghost stories that go bump in the night. Delivering rich, nuanced drama. For this trek they’re also bringing along musician Erin McKeown.
On Saturday, July 16th, Welcome To Night Vale will tape live at the Fox Theater in Oakland. The show begins at 8pm and you can also Purchase Tickets as they’re on sale now.
