Nathan performs "On The Level" with Mac DeMarco on Conan O'Brien in 2017

Last night, alt-rock musician Mac DeMarco performed his current single "On The Level" on Conan, with his full backing band -- including his part-time guitarist, comedian Nathan Fielder.
The creator and star of Comedy Central's satirical prank show, Nathan For You, has appeared onstage with DeMarco before; during last year's FYF Fest in Los Angeles, fans went crazy when they spotted Fielder onstage, holding but never really playing a guitar:
During last night's performance, Fielder kept it low-key, hanging in the barely lit background and fussing with the frets on his guitar for most of the set.
DeMarco is currently on tour, so if you're planning on catching him soon, cross your fingers that Fielder might make a cameo, too.
