In a move that’s not unlike one of his classic remotes from the 80’s or 90’s, David Letterman took over an Iowa supermarket, Hy-Vee, recently.
In the video, which was done to promote the Hy-Vee IndyCar race, David Letterman dons an apron and goes to work stocking shelves. He has some fun with customers, the PA system (all celery is free!), bags some groceries, and even works up an appetite. It’s nice to see that the man who once annoyed customers at a Taco Bell drive-thru hasn’t lost his touch!
