John Mulaney is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. It's the first time hosting for the comedian, but not his first time in studio 8H as Mulaney was a writer on the show for a few years during this time he co-created the Bill Hader monster character, Stefon. Mulaney would depart the show as his stand-up comedy career was starting to get red hot and shortly thereafter he stared in a short-lived sitcom on FOX before a few new great Netflix specials and a Broadway show Oh, Hello with Nick Kroll. Those that know Mulaney are super jazzed that he's returning to SNL, but the host is still very aware that the general public might not be completely familiar with him, so he takes the opportunity in this week's SNL promos to re-introduce himself.
