This year has brought us the news that there’s a Good Burger sequel in the works. But for fans of Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, they also got an extra surprise on last night’s Saturday Night Live.
In the sketch, Keke Palmer pitched the idea to reboot Kenan & Kel as Kenan & Kelly. The reboot manages to be a lot darker than Thompson intended, and it was clear Palmer is just trying to be dark for the sake of being dark. Then towards the end, we see Mitchell step in, and we get a proper reboot, until he’s shot dead.
