Rachel Bloom Sets Off-Broadway Show “Death, Let Me Do My Show”

Rachel Bloom is taking her new hour to New York in a new off-Broadway show, titled Death, Let Me Do My Special.

The show - which also played in Chicago, London, and Boston - is directed by Seth Barrish. Barrish previously directed Mike Birbiglia’s show, The Old Man & the Pool.

“I don’t want to say TOO much about it but, in summation, it’s a show that is definitely NOT about the ever-present spectre of death,” Rachel Bloom said about the show. “It’s filled with raunchy and escapist material that will in NO way explore the pandemic and all the tumultuous events that ensued in my personal life.”

The show premieres September 6th, with opening night September 14th, at the Lucille Lortel Theater. Tickets can be found here.
