"Saturday Night Live" makes fun of Safelite Auto Glass in sketch, Safelite isn't happy

This weekend Saturday Night Live made fun of those Safelght Auto Glass commercials. We've all seen them - a dude working for the company goes out on a call to meet and replace a broken car window for someone, fitting into her busy schedule of running her daughter to the basketball game, they've been running for years. This weekend, in a somewhat temped episode of SNL, they went full spoof of the commercial. Things start fairly simple, mocking the commercial, but things escalate to imply that the Safelite technician might be purposefully trying to arrange for the calls to get to know the daughter.

Funny sketch to everyone but Safelite, who afterward tweeted that while they could take a joke, this one was #notcool. Which, if you're keeping score at home, actually implies that the company actually can't take a joke.

What are the odds this tweet was vetted by at least 5 lawyers before it was made?

While it is doubtful that anyone will stop using the Safelite service because of a sketch like this (maybe even more people know of their existence now) we're living in an age of corporations wanting to be part of the conversation in pop culture until, ya know, they don't.
