Season 2 of Showtime's comedian drama series I'm Dying Up Here is scheduled to drop on May 6th. The show, loosely based on a book of the same name, focuses on the life of a close knit group of struggling comedians in Los Angeles in the 1970s and is executive-produced by Jim Carrey. Season 2 picks up about 6 months after season 1 left off with everyone still working on their careers, some are doing really well, while others are still struggling while Melissa Leo still being the centerpiece of the series as Goldie who not only has the hottest club in town but plays den mother to the comedians as she helps mold their careers, particularly Cassie (Ari Grayor) who she sees a lot of herself in - whether that's good or bad, we'll all find out starting at 10pm, May 6th on Showtime.
