This Week In Comedy: “TMNT: Mutant Mayhem” Hits Theaters

This Week in Comedy: 90’s kids can rejoice! TMNT is back with a new movie! From Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, TMNT: Murant Mayhem looks like it’s going to be the one fans have been waiting for. According to the official synopsis, “After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtles set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.” Alongside stars Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon, it also boasts an impressive supporting cast that includes John Cena, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, Maya Rudolph, and yes, Seth Rogen.

Also this week, Reservation Dogs returns to Hulu for a third and final season. From the minds of Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, Reservation Dogs “is a half-hour comedy that follows the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers from rural Oklahoma. This season, the Rez Dogs find themselves stranded in Cali and have to figure out their way back home. Season three is full of road trips, bathroom wisdom, unexpected fathers, boarding schools, Bigfoot, rumors, revenge and healing.”
