This week, we have ourselves not one but two can't miss stand-up comedy special coming at you. First off is Tuesday when Mike Birbiglia's highly anticipated Thank God For Jokes hits Netflix. Birbigs took some time touring this special but also somewhere found time to direct a movie while managing his followup to 2013's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend.
Also standing up this week is Kurt Braunohler with his first Comedy Central special, Trust Me. Braunohler has always had a prankster spirit, from having a skywriter write the phrase, "how do I land?" over the skies of Los Angeles, riding a jetski down the Mississippi, or tubing the LA River, when Brauhnoher asks us to trust him, we're probably going to get more than we bargain for.
