Comedian and actor Kevin Meany has died at the age of 60. Yelling, “That’s Not Right!” at this moment seems fitting.
He was found unresponsive in his home in Forestburgh, NY. Meany’s agent confirmed this news as an autopsy to determine cause of death is currently pending.
Meany was a star of movies and has been a stand-up comedian for more than 25 years. His first HBO special premiered in 1986. Since then, he’s appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In addition to stand-up he starred in Tom Hank’s movie Big and was the title character in the short-lived 1990 sitcom Uncle Buck. He also provided vocal duties to animated shows like Rocko’s Modern Life, Space Ghost Coast To Coast, and Dr. Katz.
As has become customary, many in the comedy community have paid tribute to the late comedian.
