Four Specials to Watch on Hulu Now

Are you in the market for something new to watch? With the way that we consume content, there always seems to be a need to discover new things. Luckily, 800 Pound Gorilla Media has you covered.

Today, we have four top-tier comedy specials that you can now find on Hulu. This is part of Hulu’s recent expansion of their stand-up comedy library. Since last year, the streaming giant has started putting more emphasis on stand-up, labeling it as Hularious.

We’ve broken down the most recent additions to their catalog of stand-up specials below. Let us know which one you’ll be watching this weekend!

Adam Ray: Like & Subscribe

Between his ongoing success with the YouTube sensation that is his Dr. Phil Show and his impression of President Joe Biden, Adam Ray had a pretty good 2024. Now, fans of Ray’s work can turn to his special, Like & Subscribe, for even more comedy gold! In the special, Ray talks about awkward flights, having a brother-in-law who’s a rapper, his childhood dream, and proper etiquette at Disneyland. Ray’s connection with the crowd is second-to-none, and you’ll soon see why!

Al Madrigal: Shrimpin Ain’t Easy

A veteran staple of the comedy circuit, Al Madrigal is  just the comedian you’ve been looking for if you’re ready to escape things for a bit with a few good laughs. In his 2017 special, Madrigal definitely is ready to deliver. In the special, Madrigal talks about his family, fatherhood, cilantro politics, anger management, and even shares a story of great seafood revenge. It’s the sort of humor that we all can relate to!

Kyle Kinane: Dirt Nap

Recorded at the Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, MN, you can always count on Kyle Kinane for a dependable - and hilarious - stand-up special. His 2024 outing, Dirt Nap, was no different. Directed by famed comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, Kinane talks about the process of moving from Los Angeles to the suburbs - Portland, to be exact - after the pandemic. It’s all about returning to your roots, and Kinane breaks it down in a way that few others can!

Mo Welch: Dad Jokes

Are you looking for something a bit different than your standard special? Mo Welch has you covered. Dad Jokes is described as being a “docu-special.” In it, she takes us on a road trip to a small rural town in Illinois, where she reunites with her dad for the first time in nearly twenty years. And yes, she shows off some stellar dad jokes in the process!
