Alec Baldwin vs. James Adomian, a different kind of Trump vs. Bernie

Stand-up comedian James Adomian the Sanders half of the Trump vs. Bernie tour / special that everyone was rightfully obsessed with last year, doesn’t shy away from calling out people he thinks kind of suck on social media.

He’s not the only one who’s been critical of Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of Trump on SNL – though, as someone who spent most of a year on tour with arguably the most incredibly Trump impersonator of all time, Anthony Atamanuik, he’s uniquely equipped to defend his opinion.

The other night Baldwin was on Jimmy Kimmel, talking about how he had no idea how his Trump would go til he was actually onstage. When the topic of the upcoming White House Correspondent’s Dinner comes up, Baldwin gets a little... well, bitchy, dismissively mentioning “this one guy” who’s “lobbying” to play Trump at the WHCD, all of a sudden, as if Atamanuik’s interpretation didn’t exist for years before this specific incident.

So, Adomian got mad, and Tweeted at Baldwin:
