Announcing Worldwide Comedy Month 2025

800 Pound Gorilla Announces Second Annual Worldwide Comedy Month Initiative to Celebrate Comedy from the Stage to the Screen 

 

800 Pound Gorilla announced the Second Annual Worldwide Comedy Month, a collaborative initiative across the industry to celebrate stand-up comedy throughout April. Launched last year, the month-long celebration aims to unite people through laughter with in-person and online events around the world. Media companies Nateland, Hartbeat, LOL! Network, All Things Comedy, and Laugh Society are joining in on the celebrations along with special releases from comics around the world including Trey Kennedy, Vittorio Angelone, Joe Mande, Sam Tallent, Suzi Ruffell, as well a live video special from Laugh Society and so much more. 

 

800 Pound Gorilla is collaborating with Persist Nashville on the Second Annual Stand-Up For Students comedy fundraiser, raising money to support first-generation college students. The line-up includes some of Nashville’s most notable comedians Ritu Tirtani, Renard Hirsch, Amber Autry, Ryan McComb, Paula Kosiensk with Marcus Lustig bringing the laughs as host.
