The Bay Ridge Boys launched a patreon and a podcast, so we decided to ask them a few questions

Chris Distefano and Yannis Pappas' killer web series The Bay Ride Boys is taking a big leap. The comedians rolled out three episodes of the web series these last few months and with the 4th they decided to take it to their fans. With an overwhelmingly great response, they launched a Patreon page with the intent on creating more content and having their fans help fund the large undertaking.

Distefano and Pappas also partnered with Riotcast to bring you the companion podcast called History Hyenas. Where they will bring their love for historical figures to life because, as they put it, history is made from some WILD figures.

To celebrate the launch of both their podcast and patreon, The Bad Ridge Boys threw a party. Last week, they set up shop at the Firefly in Brooklyn (home of the best chicken cuzzlets) and hosted a stand-up comedy show. The brought in Sean Donnelly and Sergio Chicon, better known as the cops from episode #1 as well as Robert Kelly, co-founder of Riotcast. After a sneak peek at episode #4, which features a hilarious storyline related to former pro-basketball player, Chris Mullen, the 5 comedians delivered a Brooklyn-worthy comedy show.

Just before their launch party, we caught up with Distefano and Pappas find out some more about what it takes to be a Bay Ridge Boy. Turns out it's a bit more involved than just roll out out of bed in the morning.
