Ben Schwartz, Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett and more to star in Disney's "DuckTales" reboot

One of the most exciting pieces of news to come out of last week's ComicCon extravaganza (well, depending on your age) was the reveal that Disney is rebooting classic cartoon DuckTales with an all-star comic cast.

Former Doctor Who David Tennant will lead the DuckTales crew, voicing rich uncle Scrooge McDuck alongside Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec), Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live), Kate Micucci (Garfunkel and Oates), and Danny Pudi (Community).

The original DuckTales aired from 1987-1990, with 100 episodes following the (mysteriously widowed?) millionaire Scrooge McDuck, who's raising his three (mysteriously orphaned?) grand-nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

In the updated version, Scrooge and the kids set out to find the lost city of Atlantis, in an hour-long pilot episode that premieres on Disney on August 12th and will air for 24 hours straight, with more episodes to follow.

And, of course, the show's getting an updated version of it's infectiously catchy opening song:
