Bill Burr Movie “Old Dads” Acquired By Netflix

Originally planned for theatrical distribution by Miramax, it seems like Netflix has acquired Bill Burr’s Old Dads. Written by Bill Burr and Ben Tishler, it continues Burr’s relationship with the platform. He previously worked with them on F Is For Family as well as his stand-up specials.

In the film, “When a middle-aged father and his two best friends sell their company to a millennial, they soon find themselves out of step and behind the times as they struggle to navigate a changing world of culture, career, and fatherhood.”

The film is slotted to be released October 20th on Netflix. No trailer or additional information has been released.
