Ever since his sudden passing in 2019, Comedy Gives Back and the comedy community has come together to pay tribute to the late, great comedian Brody Stevens. Each year, there’s a weekend full of festivities to honor Stevens and raise mental health awareness in the comedy community. Now it’s coming back again for 2023.
How to celebrate Brody Stevens Day.
It all starts on Brody Stevens Day, which is August 18th, at The Comedy Store. There will be an event celebrating Brody Stevens featuring Marc Maron, The Sklar Brothers, Dane Cook, Jeff Garlin, Dean Delray, and more. Then on Saturday, there will be a walk around Reseda Park in his honor for fans and friends. This is followed by a post-walk ceremony featuring guest speakers, comedians, music, food trucks, and more. Finally, there will be a star-studded softball game to close things out.
