We first learned of NYC comedian Mike Cannon as he was making fun of us as the warm up comedian at a taping of truTV's Comedy Knockout. But this is no tale of holding grudges, for Cannon's description of editor-in-chief Matt Kleinschmidt looking like an extra from Game Of Thrones was A) funny and B) entirely accurate (big dudes with beards, man). What that night did do was make us want to learn more about Mike Cannon, and in the months since we've caught him on stage around town and listened to his appearances on podcasts, culminating to where we are today, celebrating the release of Cannon's first hour album, I Think It Just Kicked In.
