Chris Gethard was the guest on last night's episode of Conan. He discussed his new live truTV show, The Chris Gethard Show. He told Conan that he was deliberately saving his best idea for a bit for when Conan O'Brien came on his show. Stating, “I don’t want to put you on the spot — you have many better things to do, I’m aware of that. You live 3,000 miles away, you have a career and a family. But, if you’re ever in New York, I have an idea that, if you want it, it’s yours, and it’s my favorite one that our writers came up with this year.” It's the setup to a truly great idea that Conan pretty quickly finds a flaw in. But finding the flaw might make the awkwardness of the live show even better. Here's more highlights from Gethard's appearance.
