Chris Gethard released on of the most personal comedy specials this year when HBO aired Career Suicide this past Spring. The one-man show covered the comedian's longtime battle with depression and how he learned to cope with it. But, ya know, it was a comedy. Career Suicide was extremely well received by anyone who laid eyes on the Judd Apatow-produced special - particularly Method Man, who later agreed to guest on an episode of The Chris Gethard Show because he liked the special so much.
Now, Gethard is releasing an album version of the special on November 3rd, and not just the album, but there will also be vinyl and a bundle with t-shirts as well. Hell, diehard fans that purchase the largest bundle can even enter to win a tix to a taping of TGS live. Don Giovanni Records is releasing the album and pre-orders are currently up and running on the Jersey label's website.
