Last week we confirmed that the Legion of Skanks' comedy festival Skankfest was indeed returning in 2018 with a bigger ambition and larger venue to host a weekend of shows. The festival is guaranteed to be a comedy party of a good time as the likes of Doug Stanhope, Jim Gaffigan, Artie Lange, and Bert Kreischer have performed in the past, along with live podcasts, roasts, and specialty shows.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale on beginning April 2nd for fans with a general sale on May 5th, but if you are a comedian and wish to submit for the festival those are open as of March 19th. They're accepting submissions until Monday, May 14th at 12noon. So, if you are a comedian and think you can hang with the Skanks all you have to do is submit a bio and video link to 5-8 minutes of your act and send it to skankfestnyc@gmail.com. There's no cost to submit and all performers will be paid.
