A while back, Comedy Central announced its class of comedians getting half hour specials on their newly re-branded Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents (that's the 3rd re-branding if you're keeping score at home). Those half hours were taped at the end of the Spring and now the network has released the schedule of when the half hours will premiere and a brief bio on each new act. Sadly, Lashonda Lester was to tape a half hour as part of this season, but the comedy community lost her just days before said taping.
Comedian Anthony DeVito was a recent guest on The Laugh Button Podcast and a member of this year's Half Hour class. When we asked him about the tapings, he told us how Lashonda was honored at the tapings by the network.
