Comedy Central announced its 2018 development slate, including five pilot orders and two series orders. One of the series that was greenlit is This Week At The Comedy Cellar which will offer fans an "unprecedented look inside New York City's hottest comedy club." What does that mean exactly, well it means that each half-hour episode will showcase the best of topical jokes that week leading up to the show's premiere or as the press release states, "plucked straight from the headlines and filtered through the eyes of the country’s best comedians."

Additionally, what program about the Cellar would be complete without a look at the "comic's table," where comedians working the club are often found when they're not on stage discussing and debating pretty much anything. Will this show be a modern update of what Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn was to the Comedy Cellar in the early 00s? We'll have to wait to see.
