Denver's High Plains Comedy Festival announces first wave of performers, with The Grawlix, Todd Glass, My Favorite Murder and many more

The High Plains Comedy Festival takes over Denver this August 24th - 26th, and the first wave of performers and events has just been announced -- with amazing headliners and plenty of standout locals, the fifth annual High Plains lineup promises a great weekend full of shows from hometown heroes The Grawlix (stars of sitcom Those Who Can't) and T.J. Miller, a live recording of hit podcast My Favorite Murder, and much more.

Co-founded by comic Adam Cayton-Holland, High Plains is presented by truTV (a natural fit, since its the network that hosts Those Who Can't), and Denver's own Illegal Pete's; a homegrown fest that typically features a well-curated mix of up-and-comers among today's most exciting comics, High Plains is always one of the year's most talked-about events -- taking place primarily on a stretch of the city's eclectic South Broadway, the fest has a summer camp kind of feel, between packed shows, late night parties, and unforgettable performances.

Here's everyone the fest has confirmed so far:

Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl, Ben Roy, Todd Glass, Rhea Butcher, Matt Braunger, Baron VaughnEddie Pepitone, April Richardson, Hampton Yount, Johnny Pemberton, Nick Vatterott, Debra DiGiovanni, Langston Kerman, Caitlin Gill, Ryan Singer, The Puterbaugh Sisters, Caleb Synan, Marcella Arguello, Bryan Cook, Late Late Breakfast, Josh Johnson, The Nix Bros, David Gborie, Josh Androsky, Ramon Rivas, Maggie Maye, Ryan O’Flanagan, Lisa Best, Brett Davis, Richard Douglas Jones , Laura Sanders, Dante Powell, Kristin Rand, Chris Charpentier, Troy Walker, Sam Tallent, Jordan Doll, Mara Wiles, Kevin O’Brien, and Matt Monroe
