Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner are back with a third season of their hit Hulu show Difficult People, which follows fictionalized versions of the two very real BFFs as they navigate life as jaded 30-somethings on the fringe of New York City's hipster scene.
Promising "finally, something to look forward to in 2017," the trailer that just hit teasing the third season has plenty of Billy and Julie being themselves -- snapping at millennials, getting in screaming fights with strangers, acting overly confident at auditions -- and hints at some pretty amazing plots, like Billy going through conversion therapy and Cole Escola's Matthew auditioning for Ru Paul's Drag Race.
The exceptionally honest comedy was -- somewhat surprisingly -- not among those nominated during the recent 2017 Emmy announcements, however Eichner's other show, truTV's Billy on the Street, is in the running for Best Variety Sketch Series.
Hulu begins streaming new episodes of Difficult People on August 8th.
