Saturday Night Live wrapped up its November over the weekend with the Kristen Wiig - The xx episode as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday. But that doesn't slow down the excitement for what's coming our way from the late-night sketch masters. On December 3rd Emma Stone, star of the upcoming film La La Land, will take on hosting duties. As for the musical guest, Shawn Mendes gets the nod.
Emma Stone is no stranger to comedy. She broke through with the comedy hit Superbad. Her other comedy film credits include The Rocker, The House Bunny, Zombieland, Movie 43, The Croods, and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. She boasts just as big of a comedy television resume as well. Malcolm in the Middle, Lucky Louie, Robot Chicken, 30 Rock, Maya & Marty, and she's previously hosted Saturday Night Live.
