Next week Sam Morril will drop his first hour on the Comedy Central airwaves, Positive Influence. Well, if you want to be technical about it, it's Amy Schumer presents Sam Morril. That's because a while back, Schumer worked out a deal with Comedy Central to put some of her comedian friends on the air. First up was Mark Normand, a longtime opening act for her. Now we have Sam Morril, an incredibly solid NYC comedian who already has a history with Comedy Central, with them putting out a half hour, comedy album, and many appearances on Roast Battle. So why they needed Amy Schumer to introduce Sam to the world? Who the hell knows, but what we can for sure say is that it's been a long time coming for Morril and we're happy he's getting on the air.
