After 9 years, and 330+ episodes, comedians Ryan Sickler and Jay Larson have decided to end their wildly popular podcast, The Crabfeast. A podcast where they have guests comics onto the show to tell stories and provide a podcast that was story-driven. Some hilarious and some serious, but always interesting, the podcast began when there wasn't much of an appetite for great storytelling but slowly and surely grew a bigger audience for it.
The podcast is wrapping this December and will record about 10 final episodes to wrap it up. They pre-tape the show and are asking fans to tell them who they'd like to have onto the show and serve as final guests. You can do that be emailing them crabfeastpodcast@gmail.com. They're taking the next few weeks to celebrate the end of the podcast.
They didn't particularly give an exact reason as to why they're ending the podcast, but they're now both parents with crazy schedules and other career commitments that made it sound like them getting together in same room all the time proved to be too difficult. Larson and Sickler stated that they will each roll out their own podcasts and work on future projects together so they're not considering this the end but version 2 of the endeavor.
