Jon Stewart to release his first stand-up special in 21 years

If you've missed getting a regular dose of Jon Stewart with his Daily Show broadcasts, get ready for some good news: HBO has just announced not one but two new specials from the comic, including his first original stand-up special in 21 years.

Stewart, who hosted Comedy Central's nightly news show for 16 years, will host the latest installment of fundraising event Night of Too Many Stars, a celebrity-packed show that's typically full of surprises, and whose proceeds will benefit autism awareness group NEXT. The show takes place November 18th at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

And while it's unknown when or where he'll be shooting it, or when it'll be out, HBO will also release an all-new stand-up special from Stewart - his first since 1996's Unleavened, also an HBO production.
