Comedian Kyle Kinane is no stranger to sarcasm: the comic / voice of Comedy Central, a Chicago native who now lives in LA, has spent several decades perfecting the way his punk rock attitude shines through in his stand-up, and now, he's moving on to more subversive ways of showing off his slick wit.
Over on his Instagram, Kinane has been posting an increasingly ridiculous series of fake "sponsored" posts, screenshots of real social media advertisements he punches up with subversive copy that seem, at first glance, like legit ads (especially if you're scrolling by quickly). Taking on everything from high-end designers to organic lifestyle brands, Kinane's Photoshopped posts offer tongue-in-cheek commentary on consumerism -- like this dark Louis Vuitton edit:
