For the first time since May, the late night shows are set to return!
All late night shows - as well as practically everything else - has been on hiatus since the first week of May, thanks to the WGA strike. But this week, a deal has been reached with the studios, which would allow the shows to come back.
Today, it was announced that The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Real Time with Bill Maher will all be coming back in the next few days. Real Time will come back on Friday, Last Week Tonight will come back on Sunday, and the rest will return to their respective networks on Monday.
Who can we expect to see on all the late night shows coming up?
Despite the shows coming back, things may still look a bit different for the time being. This is because actors and actresses still can’t promote their projects, due to the ongoing SAG strike. So expect to see a lot more comedians, sports figures, musicians, filmmakers, and maybe even authors on the shows until the SAG strike is over.
