Last week, the Legion of Skanks Podcast, consisting of comedians Dave Smith, Luis J. Gomez and Big Jay Oakerson packed up their NYC operation and headed out to Los Angeles for a few days. The performed two sold out shows in one night at The Comedy Store - a stand-up comedy show in the main room with Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, Tony Hinchcliff, Nikki Glaser, Kurt Metzger, and Kim Congdon.
Then they went upstairs in the store to the Belly room and taped a live podcast. Then, they decided to donate all the ticket sales to relief efforts for Puerto Rico, which is still having a really tough time recovering from being hit hard by Hurricane Maria. With Gomez (ya know, the Puerto Rican Rattlesnake) having ties to the country.
The crew hasn't stopped there, as they're putting the podcast from The Belly Room exclusively up for sale and donating all of the money earned from the sale of that to relief aid as well.
