Stand-up Matteo Lane stopped by The Late Show earlier this week, recording a stellar set that aired last night. The well-dressed, wide-smiling comic had the crowd completely in the palm of his hand from the second he stepped onstage, delivering five and a half minutes of stories about his recent Roman vacation, gay hookup apps, why pharmacists don't need to wear lab coats, and how people somehow keep mishearing "Matteo" as "Potato."
Lane will be appearing at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival this August, and he's currently on tour.
