This new trailer teases the first full season of "The Tick"

Finally! The full first season of Amazon original series The Tick is about to hit the streaming service, and there's a teaser to get us even more excited about it.

Last summer, Amazon debuted the pilot episode of The Tick, a live action adaptation of the classic comic book starring comedians Peter Serafinowitz and Griffin Newman -- and on August 25th, nine completely new installments will be released.

The pilot of The Tick was put into the world nearly a year ago (along with pilots for I Love Dick and Jean-Claude Van Johnson), as part of Amazon's pilot project; viewers vote for the shows they love, and the network decides what to pick up, and what to trash, based on the pilots' popularity. Apparently, The Tick went over real well with Amazon Prime subscribers (you'll have to be a Prime member to view the full series, and the pilot ep that's still up now).

And if you can't wait any longer for some live action Tick nostalgia, check out the full DVD box set of the complete 2001 series -- which this new version technically reboots -- starring Patrick Warburton and David Burke.
