Nick Kroll is so committed to his roles, he let Will Ferrell spit in his mouth for "The House"

Star of his own Kroll Show and this weekend's big comedy, The House (which co-stars his longtime girlfriend, Amy Poehler), Nick Kroll stopped by The Tonight Show to share some behind-the-scenes stories from the comedy, about two parents who start an illegal in-home casino to pay for their daughter's college.

Kroll told a particularly gross story about a scene he shot with Will Ferrell (who Kroll claims is actually 5'3" and 620 pounds offscreen). "When you're working with someone like Will Ferrell, you want to do something he's never done before," explains Kroll. "So we're in a fight scene, he's pinned me down, and I'm like, 'How can we top whatever he's done in movies before?' And I'm like, 'Spit in my mouth.'"

The actor laments that he didn't wonder whether Ferrell was disease-free before he made the move -- and also that the scene didn't even end up making it into The House, so it was all for naught, anyways.
