Patton Oswalt was recently the guest on the Vulture podcast, Good One hosted by Jesse David Fox. The point of the podcast is to have a comedian on to discuss some of their biggest and/or most important jokes. It's worth listening to as Oswalt discusses his joke, "Polish Woman of Doom" from his most recent special, Annihilation.

Near the end of the podcast Fox asked Oswalt about some other comedians, specifically their jokes. The question was posed... if there were a joke that Oswalt wished he could take from another comic, what would it be? Oswalt answered the question with two killer bits that came out recently. Gary Gulman's bit about the state abbreviations and Shane Torres' bit where he went in defense of celebrity chef Guy Fieri.

On Gary Gulman he said, "It's such a gorgeous piece of comedy writing. I love it so much... if it could exist at a time it'd be mine, I would take it."

On Shane Torres' bit about Guy Fieri, "That's a joke that's so good you couldn't even go 'Oh my God it was sitting right there!' It wasn't sitting right there. It was so against what everyone's conventional thinking was and he muscled through and got to there. Oh God, it's so great!"
