"The President Show" will return to Comedy Central in the form of two specials

Anthony Atamanuik is returning to the Comedy Central airwaves as President Trump, but this time around it's in the form of two hour-long specials. The first of which will premiere on Tuesday, April 3rd at 11pm and will be called Make America Great-A-Thon: A President Show Special. The entire team for The President Show is involved.

Donald Trump, portrayed by creator/executive producer Anthony Atamanuik, will host a telethon to raise money for all of the projects he can’t get anyone in Congress to fund – like the wall and infrastructure (plus these mouthy porn stars aren’t going to pay themselves off!). His sidekick, Vice President Mike Pence (Peter Grosz) will also be present to help raise the dollars with a good-old fashioned telethon. “We thought it’d be fun to have the president host a telethon” says Atamanuik. “Taking money from the American people is what Trump does best.”

“What can I say about Donald Trump that hasn’t already been said before… except that Anthony Atamanuik is a genius. A stable, creative genius,” said Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central.

The President Show stopped its Thursday night runs at the end of last year and while a weekly entertainment show about Trump isn't in the cards right now, keeping Atamanuik portraying the character on the airwaves clearly is.
