If you've ever wanted to know what it would look like if The Muppets weren't warm and fluffy, then Melissa McCarthy's new film, The Happytime Murders will answer that question and then some. In a nutshell, a lot of people involved with former Muppets films musta spent some time binge-watching Wondershowzen and declared, "hold my beer." In a world where puppets co-exist with humans, someone is killing the cast of an 80s TV children show. It's up to a former cop, who has since become a private eye, to take on the case. Add on a serious dose of foul-mouths, some drugs, sex and some silly string and you have the The Happytime Murders. The film also stars some folks you'd recognize like Joel McHale, Maya Rudolph, and Elizabeth Banks.
