SNL is back next weekend!
Next Saturday October 14th, the landmark sketch show Saturday Night Live is set to return for its 49th season. After months of uncertainty, the show has been granted permission to return by SAG. This means that the show’s entire cast will be returning. Additionally, the cast will feature newcomer Chloe Troast.
Details on the first episode of season 49 of "Saturday Night Live."
The show’s first host will be Pete Davidson - who was originally supposed to host back in May - with musical guest Ice Spice. Following that, Bad Bunny will serve as both the host and musical guest.
SAG-AFTRA gave "Saturday Night Live" its blessing to return this season.
“Our members appearing on Saturday Night Live either as hosts, guests, or cast members are working under the Network Code agreement, which is not a contract we are striking. They are not in violation of SAG-AFTRA strike rules, and we support them in fulfilling their contractual obligations,” the union said.
