Season 5 of "Arrested Development" promises a new, new beginning

Earlier this month, Arrested Development creator/showrunner Mitch Hurwitz announced that season 5 of the revived show would hit Netflix sooner than we thought. He also announced that he re-worked season 4 by re-cutting those longer 15 episodes into 22 half hour episodes. Trying to tell the story differently and, more importantly on the creative end, making the season 4 eps feature the cast in a more collaborative way over the singular episodes that season highlighted. There's also little thing about those shortened but more eps being aligned more with that lucrative syndication deals would offer.

But season 4 was 2013 and its 2018. Along with that announcement, Hurwitz announced that season 5 was coming sooner than we might've expected and with that, a trailer for season 5 was dropped on us today and it appears that the Bluths haven't learned too much during their time off, and it's all about new, new beginnings. May 29th is the release date for the new season on Netflix, mark the calendars.
