Skankfest NYC 2019 is happening, prepare yourself

Skankfest NYC, the epic multi-day comedy and podcasting festival is happening again. The comedy festival, which started from the wildly popular comedy podcast Legion of Skanks is best seen as an "anti-comedy fest" festival and more a hang. Featuring comedians whose only job is to be funny with no other agenda.

In year 3, after outgrowing The Creek And the Cave in LIC, the festival moved to a larger multi-level venue that hosted stand-up shows, podcasts, and other special events. For its 4th year the festival expanded to take on a 3rd day events, starting Friday June 21st and lasting through Sunday June 23rd. This year they will again set up show at the Brooklyn Bazaar, a multi-level performance space.

The festival has yet to announce all the comedians performing but in the past, such killer comedians like Dave Attell, Michael Che, Pete Davidson, Nikki Glaser, Sam Jay, Robert Kelly, Artie Lange, Jim Gaffigan, Doug Stanhope, Big Jay Oakerson, Legion of Skanks, The SDR Show, Rich Vos, Tony Hinchcliff, Tim Dillon, Andrew Schulz, Ari Shaffir, Dan Soder, Sal Vulcano, The Bonfire, and last year saw Colin Quinn did a reunion of Tough Crowd.

The 3-day VIP pre-sale kicked off this week and sold out in days. Single day passes go on sale March 4th and you can get all ticket and lineup info at skankfestnyc.com.
