After many years partnered with Comedy Central, today the New York Comedy Festival has announced its partnership with TBS. The partnership will be done to amplify the week of comedy shows. The festival will run between November 7th-12th and feature over 200 comedians and over 60 shows at various venues across the city.
As part of the partnership TBS will activate various fan experiences throughout the festival. the tentpole being the return of Conan O'Brien for a week of shows taped at the Apollo Theatre. TBS plans to bring more of its programming and talent to the festival. So expect to see players from its shows like Angie Tribeca, Wrecked, Search Party, People Of Earth, Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, and The Detour.
November is obviously a while away at the moment, so expect more details to be released in the months to come.
