Last year, Ted Lasso premiered on Apple TV+ to much critical acclaim. Slowly but surely, the comedy series built up its audience. And by the time the show – and star Jason Sudeikis – started sweeping the awards circuit back in February, it became clear that Ted Lasso isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Today, Apple TV+ dropped the trailer for season two. The series follows “a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer.” And also returning for season two is Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed.
Sadly, you’ll still have to wait a few more months to see Ted back in all his glory. Ted Lasso returns on July 23rd.
