This Week in Comedy: Trevor Noah hosts his final “The Daily Show”

This week in comedy: Trevor Noah is stepping down as host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central. The news was broken by Noah a few months ago, as he is ready to spend more time on the road to focus on stand-up. No new host has been announced yet, but the show will be going on hiatus until January 17th. We look forward to seeing Trevor’s last week as host!

Also this week, Sebastian Maniscalco has a new Netflix special coming out with Is It Me?. In the special, Maniscalco “gives his hilarious takes on his wife’s restaurant etiquette, the harsh realities of present-day preschool and examines everyday human behavior which forces him to beg the question: is it just me?”

And finally, Daniel Sloss is set to drop his new special em>Socio. Shot in 2019, Sloss will be self-releasing the special here. The special is described as a “punchline-heavy and forensic look into the growing trend of people showing no regard for right and wrong let alone the rights and feelings of others.”
