It's a pretty big week for premieres of some new TV, well, outside of the fall. Two highly anticipated comedy series will make their premiere this week. First up is Wednesday night where FX will debut the small screen version of the movie, What We Do In The Shadows. Based on the Jemaine Clement/Taika Waititi cult hit that hilariously depicted the lives documentary style of vampires living in modern-day New Zealand. Chock full of all the Waititi humor we've come to expect. The TV version of the show puts vamps in modern day Staten Island who hundreds of years ago came to the new land to overrun it, but never really got past Staten Island. Break out the basghetti and watch What We Do In the Shadows when it premieres on FX on Wednesday night at 10pm.
Then on Thursday things heat up as the 2 hottest Super Troopers. Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme bring you Tacoma FD, an office comedy comedy where they office just happens to be Tacoma, WA's fire department. We expect, nah, demand there be plenty of fire-based puns made at each other as the Broken Lizard duo take a look at another comedian public service. Tacoma FD premieres on truTV at 10:30pm right after the new season premiere of Impractical Jokers.
