A dark sleeper sitcom from last year's new half hour comedies was the dark school-revenge comedy A.P. Bio. Starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt, and created by Michael O'Brien (Saturday Night Live) the show is based around Harvard philosophy professor Jack Griffin who fails to get his dream job and is forced to move back to his hometown in Ohio and teach A.P. Bio at the local school. However, rather than actually teach the science course he is hired for, he takes his room full of honors students and recruits them to seek revenge on his job-stealing nemeis and get his dream job.
