This week on TV: It's Arrested Development and Kimmy Schmidt starts the end

After a long weekend of remembrance of Memorial Day we're presented with a relatively shorter work week. While the holiday is the unofficial kickoff of the summer, it doesn't present any slower time in the TV viewing space as two major shows are premiering this week on Netflix. First up is season 5 of Arrested Development, the cult TV show was revived by Netflix back in 2013 after it leaving FOX a bit too early. While many were jazzed about the show returning, season 4 was a bit of a miss due to how limited the interaction between the cast was (it was also one of the first shows shot with the Netflix "binge" in mind. But season 5 promises a return to form, so we'll have to tune in to see.

Then, after you're done binging to get your AD fix, the 4th (and final) season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt premieres. In this season Kimmy has a new job, but is just as eccentric and charming as ever. The final season will be split in two batched, the first six episodes drop on Wednesday and the rest are released later this year. If the first three seasons were about Kimmy getting her feet under her, this season shows her coming to grips with the her accepting her past and succeeding almost as much as failing.
