This week is a mixed bag because the 4th of July is smack dab in the middle of the week. So instead of hump day, we have Independence day. While major holidays like this usually make for a relatively weak TV offerings. However with that being said, this is not the case this week as the first week of July offers us 3 large comedic offerings.
First up on Tuesday, the much-hyped Comedy Lineup will hit Netflix. This is the streaming giant's foray into the 15 minute comedy special. Some of the best emerging comedians out there are going to get a showcase, harkening back to the days of Premium Blend, when these types of showcases often happened.
Then, on Friday, the new season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee comes out on Netflix. Seinfeld recently moved his entire Comedians In Cars... operation over to Netflix and it appears to be a good call as traction on the series seems to be at an all-time high.
Wrapping up the week on Saturday night, Bill Maher will drop his 11th stand-up comedy special on HBO.
